Angels & Demons

Watched Angels & Demons (actually almost a week ago). Too busy to post the review :)

This film is about a symbolist named Robert Langdon (Tom Hanks, played in Da Vinci Code) that's called by the church (AGAIN??). The Pope died and the four preferitti (primary hopeful for the papacy) is kidnapped by an anti-catholic organization named Illuminati. Strangely though, Illuminati is already extinct. The killer leaves clues that says that every hour one of the preferitti will be killed. Robert Langdon and Vittoria Vetra travel throughout Rome to reveal the truth (I know I know, my language is too LEBAY)

My opinion? 4 OUT OF 5 STARS!

This movie is AMAZING! TWO THUMBS UP! :))) Hm this is so not a cheesy movie so you have to think if you watch this film. But I haven't read the book actually, and am going to read it. But I'm sure the book is even much much better. So maybe (MAYBE ya) if I watch this movie when I already read the book I'll give 3 stars, or 2.5
But in my opinion, Angels & Demons is much much much much better than The Da Vinci Code (the movie I mean). Hm too lazy to write much.

Alice's Adventure in Wonderland

OH. MY. GOD. I'M DYING TO BUY THESE BOOOOOOKS!!!!!!

Alice's Adventure in Wonderland, and Through the Looking Glass. THE ORIGINAL VERSION.

I bought one, but not the original one. It was changed into a more cheerful, and entertaining story. I REALLY REALLY WANT THE ORIGINAL VERSION, and I'm sure no one's selling it now. Secondhand book is okay, as long as I can still read it.

There's gonna be the movie, that's directed by Tim Burton (whoa, my sister should be happy), and I've watched the 1972 movie. It was scary (yes, scary. and oh anyway, i was 8) and thrilling. YOU. SHOULD. WATCH. IT.

Anyone, please buy me those books. or at least if you know where to buy it, please tell me, ASAP!

Once

I watched Once yesterday night.

The film was about a Dublin guitarist, singer and songwriter who makes a living by fixing vacuum cleaners in his dad's Hoover repair shop by day, and singing and playing for money on the Dublin streets by night. An (unnamed) Girl is a Czech who plays piano when she gets a chance, and does odd jobs by day and takes care of her mom and her daughter by night. Guy meets Girl, and they get to know each other as the Girl helps the Guy to put together a demo disc that he can take to London in hope of landing a music contract. During the same several day period, the Guy and the Girl work through their past loves, and reveal their budding love for one another, through their songs. (i copied this from imdb)

This is an indie movie, you can see it from the lighting, the angles, etc etc. So if you love a blockbuster movie this is a crap. But if you love indie movie (hell yeah i LOVE indie movie. I love MOVIES) this movie is a blast. FYI it won an OSCAR for Best Achievement for Music Written for Motion Picture for the soundtrack, and other 14 wins and 18 nominations. WOW. And really, the soundtracks are WONDERFUL AND GREAT! I guess this movie wasn't made to be a blockbuster, it's not really commercial (yeah because it's an indie movie, silly) and the story is NOT commercial. The ending is realistic, and it's not a kind of you-can-guess-the-ending-from-the-start movie. It's realistic.

Oh, and independent-movie-LOVERS. (lovers? whew) YOU. MUST. WATCH. THIS. FILM. This is a good indie movie, but i'm sure for those who love major movie (what's the opposite of indie movie?) this is a crap, and this movie doesn't have a point. SINCE I'M A BIT WEIRD AND INDIE (not really girlzzz but I want to write this because it sounds good) SO I REALLY LOVE THIS MOVIE, ESPECIALLY THE MUSIC. Oh and for those who love music very much, watch this movie. The soundtracks are won.der.ful.

Starring :

Glen Hansard
Marketa Irglova
Gerard Hendrick
Alastair Foley

Director: John Carney

Tagline: (I LOVE THIS TAGLINE!) How often do you find the right person?

A Walk To Remember (yyyyyyyy)

I watched A Walk To Remember yesterday. The film was GRRREEEEEAAAAT! Really really GRREEEAAAT! Okay, A Walk to Remember is a really girly movie, so I think those who don't enjoy teen-flick-and-drama-movies won't enjoy this great movie. Really, I almost cried when I watched this movie. Okay, I CRIED. I CRIED. AHUHAHUAUA This movie is really really romantic. RO-MAN-TIC. Overload romance (hahblah). AHUHAUHUAHUSIAOHMFWHENIEWGYMTFDW. Here's the synopsis.

In Beaufort, North Carolina, a prank on a student goes terribly wrong and puts the student in the hospital. Landon Carter, a popular student with no defined plans for the future, is held responsible and forced to participate in after-school community service activities as punishment, which include starring as the lead in the school play. Also participating in these activities is Jamie Sullivan, the reverend's daughter who has great ambitions and nothing in common with Landon. When Landon decides he wants to take his activities seriously, he asks Jamie for help and begins to spend most of his time with her. But he starts to develop strong feelings for her, something he did not expect to do. The two start a relationship, much to the chagrin of Landon's old popular friends and Jamie's strict reverend father. But when a heart-breaking secret becomes known that puts their relationship to the test, it is then that Landon and Jamie realize the true meaning of love and fate.

Starring:

Shane West (he's hot!)
Mandy Moore
etc etc.

THIS IS A MUST-WATCH MOVIE! (ahuhaua bahasaaaa)

:)))

Haha this is a candid picture of me, taken by Lala my bestbestbestbest friend in our (me, Langen, Lala, Zahras) favorite place, a meadow (okay it's not really a meadow) that we call 'Chopstick'. Why? I don't know hehehe. The name just popped out in our head so we call the 'meadow' Chopstick.

We were so tired after an exam (that lasted on SATURDAY), so we went there to relax. I was going to sleep with my bag (the red nike one behind me) as a pillow hahaha and Lala took this silly photo :) AHUAHUAHUA I MISS MY ELEMENTARY SCHOOL-TIME!

The Sound of Music

In my last post I wrote that my friggin computer makes my life even worse than before so i think I won't write much in this post.

I just watched The Sound of Music, I know i'm way too late but who cares? lol Here's the synopsis:

Maria (Julie Andrews) had longed to be a nun since she was a young girl, yet when she became old enough discovered that it wasn't at all what she thought. Often in trouble and doing the wrong things, Maria is sent to the house of a retired naval captain, named Captain Von Trapp (Christopher Plummer) , to care for his children. Von Trapp was widowed several years before and was left to care for seven 'rowdy' children. The children have run off countless governesses. Maria soon learns that all these children need is a little love to change their attitudes. Maria teaches the children to sing, and through her, music is brought back into the hearts and home of the Von Trapp family. Unknowingly, Maria and Captain Von Trapp are falling helplessly in love, except there are two problems, the Captain is engaged, and Maria is a postulant!

You know I copied this from imdb and actually I made my own synopsis and it's gone because of my computer -_-

The movie was GREEEAAAAT! Hm maybe it's a bit lebay but who cares? It was made in 1965 and everybody knows that 1965 was an era of 'lebay' things (the seven year itch is even worse)

Maybe if you're not a dramatic-vintage-lovers this film is a crap but really, in my opinion, this is greaaat. I love the songs and clothes (you know I'm a bit old-fashioned)

i cant upload any photos right now, my computer has some serious errors. So you can just google the poster hehehe.

Addicted

HAHAHAHA HIHIHI ROFLMAO

I'm addicted to Hoedown Throwdown.
I think I can do it while I'm sleeping lol.
It's not that I'm good at dancing, actually I'm not good at dancing.
It's about the fun and joy that it brings. (HAHAHAHAHAHA)
You can express yourself by dancing, right?
In this dance, you can express yourself by doing its silly-but-cool moves.
Especially in the "Shake it out, head to toe" part :)
And believe me, try it, get addicted.

HAHAHAHAHAHA.

Hoedown Throwdown

This is the lyric of 'Hoedown Throwdown' anyway I'm sorry if there are some mistakes.

Boom clap, boom de clap de clap
Boom boom clap, boom de clap de clap (repeat until you're tired lol)

One, two, three!
Everybody come on off your seat
I'm gonna tell you about a beat
That's gonna make you move your feet

I'll give the barbeque, show and tell you how to move
If you're five or eighty-two, it is something you can do (atau this is? taudah)

Pop it, lock it, polka dot it
Country fiving, hip hop hip
Put your arms in the sky, move side-to-side
Jump to the left, stick it, glide

Zig zag cross the floor
Shuffle in diagonal
When the drum hits, hands on your hips
One footed one eighty twist

And then zig zag, step and slide
lean in the left, clap three times
Shake it out, head to toe
Throw it all together that's how we roll

Do the hoedown throwdown! (repeaaaat)

We get to four, five, six, and you're feelin busted
But it's not time to quit
Practice makes you perfect

Pop it, lock it, polka dot it
Country fiving, hip hop hip
Put your arms in the sky, move side-to-side
Jump to the left, stick it, glide

Zig zag cross the floor
Shuffle in diagonal
When the drum hits, hands on your hips
One footed one eighty twist

And then zig zag, step and slide
lean in the left, clap three times
Shake it out, head to toe
Throw it all together that's how we roll

(repeat ALL of this)
